Germany | Berlin  is the capital of Germany. The city was subdivided in smaller districts, of which some still can be found in old guides: Charlottenburg, Friedrichshain, Hellersdorf, Hohenschönhausen, Köpenick, Kreuzberg, Lichtenberg, Marzahn, Mitte, Neukölln, Pankow, Prenzlauer, Reinickendorf, Schöneberg, Spandau, Steglitz, Tempelhof, Tiergarten, Treptow, Wedding, Weißensee, Wilmersdorf and Zehlendorf. For the tourists the central districts of the city are especially interesting: Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Mitte as well as Prenzlauer Berg, since in these is the great majority of the tourist attractions. The old cities of Spandau and Köpenick also deserve a visit. Both were annexed to Berlin just in 1920, although they have more antiquity than the same city and therefore they have an old citadel in his interior. In other districts attractions can be found that are recommended to leave for visits of greater duration.
